MIRROR PEOPLE / KOOL DJ DUST

Our summer treat: a super hot split 12“ by two refreshing new artists KOOL DJ DUST and MIRROR PEOPLE.

KOOL DJ DUST is a digger/DJ/producer based in Stockholm and you maybe know him from his highly acclaimed mixes for Tim Sweeney’s “Beats In Space “ show or his debut Album “DISCO OPERA” which was supported from Erol Alkan to Todd Terje and Aeroplane. For his first release on Permanent Vacation he delivers two heavy old school elektro meets italo disco cuts. Supreme!
MIRROR PEOPLE is the Portuguese DJ and Producer Rui Maia. He has a thing for analogue synthesizers, which you can hear in his productions – lovely sun-trenched house music. Rui started making music in a band called X-WIFE, which became very popular in Portugal, where they played alongside LCD Soundsystem, Soulwax, Gossip and the Arctic Monkeys.

Nick Chacona (Mood Music): really nice tracks esp the Kool DJ Dust. Great way to switch up the sound a bit!
40 Thieves (Smash Hit): totally unique yet perfectly at home on PVR. Kool DJ Dust and Mirror People both have a new fan in me!
