BRONTOSAURUS

107-1 cover

This is a retrospective on the life and work of the mighty Brontosaurus label. Already planned since the cretaceous age, it needed some centuries for us to perfect our witch doctor skills to bring this gentle giant back to life. Although it was only granted to live for four years (2006-2010) the label’s work was quite influential, and Brontosaurus managed to become a reference of its own. Which rarely happens in an often reference overcrowded genre. Enough reasons to raise Brontosaurus a monument to reminisce him in his full glory. We are also very happy to get an inside view by fellow palaeontologist and Tuff city Kid Gerd Janson, who contributed liner notes to this double gatefold LP.

MANO LE TOUGH: CHANGING DAYS

105-2 cover

Over the past few years, Mano Le Tough has become one of the shooting stars of the international dance music scene. His impact has been so great that Kristian Beyer of Ame claimed recently in an interview that: “ Thanks to Mano Le Tough , I have no fears for the future of House “. And not just Beyer, the entire Innervisions gang including Ame and Dixon have become fervent supporters of Mano Le Tough’s warm and melodic, yet driving sound.

XLR8R claims that Mano Le Tough’s debut LP “Changing Days is one of the finer and more genuinely affecting dance/pop hybrids in recent memory.” Plus his emotive take on house music has made him one of the highest new entries on Resident Advisor’s DJ top 100.
